Community Blossom
Since joining the National Cherry Blossom Festival in September 2021, I’ve led the charge in deepening community impact through bold, engaging programming. I’ve developed four new community-focused initiatives that celebrate culture, creativity, and connection across all eight wards of Washington, DC. My work has transformed the Festival’s local presence—earning me the nickname “Community Blossom” among DC residents. From senior tea parties to youth-driven sneaker campaigns, each program reflects my passion for building meaningful, joy-filled experiences. I continue to grow this legacy, bringing people together in ways that are vibrant, inclusive, and unforgettable. Here are a few highlights of the programs I’ve created with the National Cherry Blossom Festival.
Film Festival Lover
From 2018 to 2021, I worked with the American Film Institute, where I played a key role in securing local and corporate sponsors for a variety of film festivals. I had the opportunity to contribute to several cultural events, with a special focus on two of AFI’s largest celebrations: the Latin American Film Festival and the European Union Film Showcase. My work focused on building strategic partnerships that aligned with each festival's mission while elevating the visibility of community and corporate brands. This experience deepened my passion for blending arts, culture, and business through dynamic sponsorships and audience engagement.

Haute Life
In 2015, I launched Haute Hipsters Media (HHM), a boutique luxury public relations and branding agency focused on delivering bold, innovative strategies for modern brands. As the founder, I led impactful campaigns, managed high-profile events, and secured meaningful sponsorships for a diverse range of clients—from media maven April Daniels to spoken word artist Oville the Poet. HHM specialized in a 360-degree approach to branding, blending PR, creative marketing, and event management to elevate client visibility and influence. Through this venture, I discovered my passion for partnership-building and community impact, laying the foundation for the connector I’ve become today.
