When Wright Productions set their sights on Washington, DC for the Rock Out With Me (ROWM) campaign, Haute Hipsters Media (HHM) was called in to help bring the vision to life. Partnering with Wright Productions and Ebony Magazine, we proudly joined forces with April Daniels—creator of the Rock Out With Me movement—and honored the powerhouse talent, Tamar Braxton, for an unforgettable event at Howard University.

The mission behind Rock Out With Me was powerful: to challenge stereotypes about women and unity, and to provide a platform where women could uplift, empower, and celebrate one another. Through empowerment events, social media engagement, and community outreach, April Daniels’ message was clear—women rock harder together.

HHM’s role was dynamic and hands-on. Our team hit the ground running to secure press for April Daniels the week of the event, working closely with Howard University’s Homecoming community to maximize visibility. We also prepared Wright Productions for their trip to DC, ensuring every logistical detail was in place.

In the lead-up to the big day, HHM secured four interviews for April Daniels, booked a heartfelt speaking engagement at J.O. Wilson Elementary School, and organized a food tasting event featuring Chef JR and the KitchenCray Team.

On the day of the event, we delivered a comprehensive media experience, securing coverage from 15 media outlets, setting up and managing the red carpet, preparing vendors, and ensuring that April Daniels and Tamar Braxton were fully prepared for their media moments.

The result? A celebration of women, unity, and empowerment that left a lasting impression on Washington, DC, and on everyone who experienced it.

Our team also facilitated exclusive interviews for Kevin Carr, CEO of PRO2CEO, ensuring he had media exposure both before and after the summit. From strategy to execution, HHM helped transform the S3 Summit into a standout gathering of today’s most influential leaders.

In September 2016, fresh off the buzz from major radio airplay, Nia launched her highly anticipated tour—traveling from Los Angeles to Washington, DC, New York, and Philadelphia. But this wasn’t just a radio tour; it was a healing journey. At each city she visited, Nia brought more than just her voice—she brought hope, connection, and community transformation.
As an independent artist, Nia Allen's presence resonated beyond the stage, attracting high-net-worth individuals, community leaders, socialites, celebrities, tastemakers, and corporate supporters. Her music created spaces for healing and reflection wherever she performed.

Our team planned every detail—from securing six sponsors and arranging five major interviews with radio stations to coordinating four unforgettable tour stops. Working alongside PNA, HHM made sure Nia’s message reached the people who needed it most, amplifying her mission to heal hearts and communities through music.

When Grammy Award-winning artist Chrisette Michele and her team made an unexpected stop in Washington, DC, they wanted to give back to the fans who had supported her journey. With just 48 hours' notice, they turned to Haute Hipsters Media (HHM) to make it happen in Washington, DC.

Rising to the challenge, HHM quickly mobilized our network and reached out to our longtime friends at Shoe City. Without hesitation, Shoe City came on board—not just as a venue partner, but also as an event sponsor. Together, we transformed a tight timeline into a memorable and intimate meet-and-greet experience for Chrisette’s fans.
